How to extend the service life of continuous casting machine is a concern of many users, the service life of continuous casting machine is closely related to its maintenance, pay attention to the following points.
1. Casters are installed in the design position correctly and reliably.
2. The installation of caster bracket has sufficient strength and reliable material.
3. The mounting device cannot change or affect the function of the caster.
4. The axis of the rotating motion wheel is always vertical.
5. The fixed caster is in a straight line with its axis.
6. If only swivel casters are used, they are the same.
7. If fixed casters and swivel casters are used together, all casters are compatible with each other and used in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations
8. Avoid improper use or overloading, especially heavy goods should be placed lightly on the vehicle. Driving at high speed on rough roads or heavy loads hitting the wheels may damage the wheels or equipment.
9. Periodic inspection: brackets and fasteners: tighten loose axles and nuts, and check whether the welds or support plates are damaged. Overload or impact can cause bracket deformation. Twisted brackets can cause heavy loads to tilt toward individual wheels, which can lead to premature damage.
10. When installing casters, use lock nuts or lock washers. When installing telescopic rod casters, ensure that the rod is firmly installed in the housing.
11. Lubrication: regularly fill with lubricant, wheels and movable bearings can be used for a long time. Apply grease to the friction parts of the axle, seals and roller bearings to reduce friction and make the rotation more flexible. Lubrication is usually done every six months. The wheels of the car should be lubricated after cleaning once a month.
12. Wheels: Visually inspect the wheels for wear. The wheels do not rotate smoothly, are red thin, and have debris such as ropes. Anti-winding cover can block the winding of these debris. Loose or over-tightened casters are another factor. Replace damaged wheels to avoid unstable rotation. After inspecting and replacing wheels, make sure the axles are tightened using lock washers and nuts. This is because loose axles can cause the width of the wheel and the bracket to rub and get stuck. Replacement wheels and bearings should be provided to avoid downtime losses.
13. Caster: If the steering movement is too loose, replace it immediately. If the main pin rear camber center rivet is secured with a nut, make sure it is firmly locked. If the movable steering cannot turn freely, check the ball bearings for corrosion or dirt. If fixed casters are installed, make sure the caster bracket does not bend.
