How to maintain and care for caster wheels?

Check for structural deformation caused by overload or severe impact. If the weight of heavy objects is unevenly distributed onto one or two swivel casters, it will lead to deformation of the swivels and casters, causing the wheels to become unable to rotate.
Regularly inspect the swivel casters and caster assemblies for their condition and tightness. Periodically rotate the swivel casters and casters from the side or at both ends, and check the following items:
1. Is there any fracture at the weld point or the welded baseplate?
2. Are the nuts and bolts loose?
3. Inspect the equipment for structural deformation caused by overload or severe impact. If the weight of heavy objects is unevenly distributed onto one or two swivel casters, it can lead to deformation of the swivels and casters, causing the wheels to become unable to rotate.
4. If the casters are equipped with insertion rods, make sure that the mounting holes on the equipment are not bent and fit snugly onto the insertion rods.
5. Use lock nuts or lock washers to install the casters.
6. Confirm that the expansion rubber sleeve is securely and properly installed. Casters, Shanghai Caster Factory, Swivel Casters, Universal Casters

How do you determine whether caster wheels are of good quality?
Casters should always operate smoothly and stably on the ground—but this is almost purely a theoretical ideal. In reality, casters frequently encounter brief, jagged surfaces when leaving the ground, or cross thresholds, tracks, and potholes. Consequently, when they suddenly become overloaded or when three-quarters of the casters lose contact with the ground, they must bear the entire weight of the furniture.
What are the differences among different swivel casters?
These two types of casters, due to their different functions, also serve different purposes. Swivel casters are suitable for food transportation in restaurants, while non-swivel casters are better suited for food handling in environments with a higher degree of mechanization. Because the materials used in non-swivel casters are relatively harder, many factories prefer these casters—they’re far superior to the swivel ones.
Principle of Antistatic Casters
Electrostatic casters are typically made from conductive materials such as metal or carbon fiber. These conductive materials have excellent electrical conductivity, enabling them to quickly dissipate static charges to the ground and thus prevent their accumulation. In addition, electrostatic casters feature a special structural design that enhances their conductivity and grounding effectiveness.
